AI for Therapists: How to Rank Higher on AI, Google and Attract More Private Practice Clients

Artificial intelligence is changing how people search for mental health support and therapy online. AI for therapists is becoming an important topic because many potential clients now use AI tools such as ChatGPT to ask questions about therapy and find practitioners. For counsellors and psychotherapists in private practice, understanding how AI search works can help improve visibility, attract the right clients and build a sustainable practice.

Complimentary AI ZOOM Workshop
AI for Therapists, Counsellors & Psychotherapists

Using AI to Rank Higher on AI, Google and Attract More Private Practice Clients

📅 Wednesday 18 March
🕡 7pm – 9pm (AEDT)

In this practical session I will take you through:

• why therapists can no longer ignore AI
• how AI is changing Google search and therapist visibility
• why niching is more important than ever
• how to rank higher in Google and AI search results
• how to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude & Gemini effectively in private practice
• how to create content that attracts enquiries

Most clinicians are currently under-utilising AI tools, often using them only for writing tasks or to generate ideas. At the same time, major changes in search technology over the past year have meant that many therapists who once ranked well on Google are no longer easily found online.

Artificial intelligence is now influencing how search engines surface information and recommend practitioners. If therapists do not understand these changes, their websites and content can quietly drop in visibility, leading to fewer enquiries.

In reality, AI can support therapists to rebuild and strengthen their online presence. When used strategically and ethically, these tools can help clinicians improve search visibility, refine their niche, create content that answers real client questions, and build client-attraction systems that bring the right people to their practice.

This workshop focuses on helping counsellors and psychotherapists understand what has changed and how to adapt, so their work can once again be easily found by the people who need it.

I was one of the first therapists to begin running workshops on AI for therapists, and last year I was in the top 5% of global users of ChatGPT. I’ve spent the past year exploring how these tools can be used ethically and practically within counselling and psychotherapy practice.

The focus of this workshop is applied learning so you leave with strategies you can use immediately.

P.S Many therapists know my work helping practitioners attract clients through blogging, vlogging and podcasting. Those approaches are not dead, but the way they support visibility in Google and AI search has changed. I’ll explain what needs to be done differently now.
